Client Profile: 

Three clients in various medical specialties encompassing 25 combined locations.

Scenario:

These groups asked for solutions to non-compliance among patients who were prescribed pre-op and post-op supplies (bandages, gauze, ointments, specified cold or hot pak sizes, etc.).

Action:

The physicians were concerned about pre- and post-operative non-compliance by surgical patients who would not always locate and buy the prescribed items.  drs4drs created a separate functionality on OTTO designed specifically for tablets, where each physician’s post op supply lists could be housed.  Surgery schedulers hand the patients an iPad (rather than a paper list) showing the items needed and the price, and explain to the patient that they can go to stores or shop online to find the supplies they will need before and after surgery….or……they can buy the supplies there in the scheduling office.  The supplies are shipped directly to the patient at 9-10% savings. The patient experiences maximum convenience at lower cost and the physicians are assured that patients have the prescribed items before and after surgery..

This program will be offered to all new clients beginning in Q2, 2020.
